St. George's Ofcolaco MTB Race

Welcome to St. George's Ofcolaco MTB Race

Ofcolaco is a tiny village situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa that was named after the Officers Colonial Land Company and formed by demobilised British army officers after the First World War. Descendants of the original officers still live in the district.

St George’s Church is a multi-denomination church which was built by the officers and hosted many fund raising events amongst them the original bike ride and in later years a sheep braai in the Christmas Forest in the Lekgalametsi, the St Georges in the bush Mountain bike ride is going into its 4th year and all proceeds go to the church.

St Georges Church has included one of our local area schools as a beneficairy from this years event. Allagraine Primary School is situated in the Bourdeaux area on our border and is in great need of assistance, they have limited resources in terms of facilites and educational equipment. We will helping in some of these areas this year.

We would like to extend the opportunity to you to bring a second hand (good condition) toy to the day as a donation, we will provide a bin to put these into and deliver them to the school after the bike ride. Your contribution will be much appreciated by the kids of Allagraine School.
